Brian Priske Pedersen: Football Manager and Former Player

Background and Early Career

Brian Priske Pedersen, born on May 14, 1977, is a Danish football manager and former player. He began his football career as a defender, playing for various Danish clubs, including Horsens, Aalborg BK, and FC Midtjylland.

Playing Career

During his playing career, Priske was known for his strong defensive abilities and leadership qualities. He made over 350 appearances in the Danish Superliga and represented the Danish national team on several occasions.

Coaching Career

After retiring as a player in 2013, Priske embarked on a coaching career. He initially worked as an assistant coach at FC Midtjylland before becoming the head coach of the club in 2018. Under his guidance, FC Midtjylland won the Danish Superliga title in 2020 and reached the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

In 2021, Priske left FC Midtjylland to take over as head coach of Belgian club Royal Antwerp. At Antwerp, he implemented a modern and attacking style of play that helped the team achieve success in the Belgian First Division A.

In 2023, Priske joined Czech First League club Sparta Prague, where he continues to lead the team with his tactical acumen and leadership abilities.
